PURPOSE
As McKinsey rightly identified, the war for talent will rage on. Digitalisation, collaboration tools and the unforgiving expectations of the well-educated Generation Y have fundamentally changed not only the way we work, but also how organisations need to approach employment, remuneration, retention and people development.
I have a strong track record in building highly motivated teams, minimising staff fluctuation and facilitating sustainable leadership. I’ve cracked the code for establishing strong teams and empowering people to apply agile methods, manage tasks responsibly and collaborate across functions and departments. Allow me to look at your leadership methods and unveil new approaches that will secure the well-being of your employees as well as your short-, mid- and long-term success.
OMNI-CHANNEL
Despite huge shifts to online business in recent years, physical retailing is here to stay. The question is, what’s the best way to support the different demands, wishes and journeys of your consumers? How can you make them buy, feel satisfied, talk about their experience and come back time and again?
I offer profound expertise in consumer-centric user journey mapping, plus a wealth of experience in bringing the customer journey to life, managing the process and optimising purchases and fulfilment at all stages of the value chain – from the underlying IT infrastructure to processes, UX/CX, communication, training, KPI monitoring and closed-loop improvements. Bottom line, this enables you to leverage the full potential of strong brands and powerful business models.
DIGITALISATION
A poorly designed and executed non-digital process will always be precisely that: poor. Bad processes remain bad, even if you digitalise them. So this is not just about digitalising things. In modern times of working from home, limited resources and heightened pressure to be fast and agile, the key to digitalisation is ensuring it facilitates constructive collaboration, minimises frictional losses and drives growth.
Let’s scrutinise and understand your company set-up and working methods together. I can say with certainty that as well as unearthing effective opportunities to improve the capability and productivity of your operations – in many areas of the business – we will also identify the most potent levers of automation and digitalisation.
SUSTAINABILITY
You don’t have to become more green or vegan to be sustainable. But you do need to establish where you stand in the future of business. The way forward will be judged by your customers, based on your contribution to making the world a better place. At the same time of course, you still need to be profitable and grow.
As well as crystalising your raison d’être – i.e. your business purpose – I will also help you develop a roadmap for sustainable, profitable growth. This will open the door to long-term opportunities, so you can outpace your competitors as they continue to focus on short-term gains at the expense of consumers and our planet.
LEADERSHIP
As McKinsey rightly identified, the war for talent will rage on. Digitalisation, collaboration tools and the unforgiving expectations of the well-educated Generation Y have fundamentally changed not only the way we work, but also how organisations need to approach employment, remuneration, retention and people development.

KEY NOTE SPEECHES
Sharing knowledge and expertise is not only great for the sake of learning. It’s amazingly inspiring for the audience – inspiring others to move away from traditional practices and igniting an ambition to do things differently. Of course, this takes content that captivates and thought-provoking presentation.
Insightful, open, novel, at times provocative, but always with a sense of humour. My aim and aspiration has always been to spice up my speeches with interesting ideas, no matter who’s in the audience – from teams to supervisory boards or even hundreds of delegates at international e-com and retail conferences, my goal is the same: to share, not to impress. Why? Because I believe you only leave a positive impression if you offer benefit to the audience.
FACILITATION
These days, nobody has time to opt out of business for several days. Sometimes it’s even hard to pull together a company think tank for more than a 90-minute meeting. Yet to develop and grow, sometimes you do need to go back to square one, adopt a bird’s eye perspective or re-evaluate performance in a certain area of your business.
Whether remotely or sitting in the same room, I facilitate successful workshops that deliver tangible and immediate outcomes that will improve your business, always based on my profound expertise in managing different stakeholders and topics. The techniques I draw on range from Metaplan to design thinking, MVP, mind mapping, Scrum and others.
BOARD ADVISORY
You’re a start-up, an NGO or perhaps a traditional family-owned or mid-sized international business (up to €2bn turnover) in the fashion retail sector – maybe you need support with deciphering P&Ls, harvesting low-hanging fruit, defining and describing (new) business models, or are you keen to place more emphasis on the key drivers that really are important to you – the levers you really can influence within your organisation?
This is one of my favourite exercises. Thanks to a keen eye for what really matters, a sharp focus and a strong belief in genuine KPIs – the fewer, the better – I help you make things happen in the areas that matter most, not only shifting the focus to what you really can influence but also enabling you to start monitoring success in the areas it really does derive from.
